We are at the FOSDEM 2026 in Brussels

On 31 January and 1 February 2026, FOSDEM will once again take place in Brussels. FOSDEM is one of the largest and most renowned conferences for free and open source software and has been bringing together developers and communities from all over the world for over 25 years.

We are delighted to be represented with two presentations.

Our talk: "Storage aspects consumed by OpenCloud"

In his talk Dr Jörn Dreyer will provide an overview of the storage aspects that are relevant from the perspective of OpenCloud, the currently supported integrations and current research topics.

Our presentation: "OpenCloud Groupware - a new JMAP client"

OpenCloud is an open source solution for file management and collaboration that is extended by a groupware stack. In his presentation, Pascal Bleser will introduce the concept of the new OpenCloud groupware and show how groupware functions based on open standards can be integrated into the existing OpenCloud stack.

Also not to be missed: "Mail & Security - Lessons learned and interesting tools"

In their presentation, Carsten Rosenberg and Manu Zurmuehl from Heinlein Support GmbH will provide practical insights into the current state of email and security. Using real examples, typical support cases and a few anecdotes, they will show where mail infrastructures reach their limits in everyday life.
