We are looking for a visionary leader who will drive OpenCloud forward with strategic foresight, technological know-how and human empathy.

Your mission

  • Shaping the future & driving innovation: You will further develop the vision and strategic direction of OpenCloud and position the company as a leading alternative to big tech solutions.
     
  • Ensuring technological excellence: Together with our development team, you will drive the continuous development of our software, improve security, scalability and user-friendliness and ensure a strong open source community.
     
  • Managing sustainable growth: You develop innovative business strategies, ensure a stable economic basis and tap into new market potential – always with a focus on data protection and digital sovereignty.
     
  • Inspiring people & leading teams: You lead a dedicated team of developers, product managers and sales professionals, promote their strengths and create a corporate culture based on openness, trust and personal responsibility.
     
  • Building networks & strengthening partnerships: You actively position OpenCloud in the open source community, maintain strategic cooperations with companies, public institutions and political decision-makers.
     
  • Politically representing open source & data protection: You are a staunch advocate of open source and digital self-determination and are involved in debates on Europe's digital future.

Your profile

  • Experience & strategic expertise: You have experience in business management, ideally in the IT or software industry, and have a proven track record in business development.
     
  • Technological understanding & innovative strength: You are familiar with modern software architectures, cloud technologies and IT security and can strategically classify technical developments.
     
  • Leadership & empathy: You are an inspiring leader who motivates people, recognizes potential and develops teams in an open, trusting culture.
     
  • Communication & persuasiveness: You can communicate visions clearly, inspire stakeholders and represent OpenCloud confidently to the outside world.
     
  • Passion for open source & data protection: You share our values and want to help shape a sustainable, independent and digital infrastructure.
