On 16 and 17 August 2025, the 20th FrOSCon (Free and Open Source Software Conference) will take place at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences in Sankt Augustin. The conference is organised by the Department of Computer Science together with FrOSCon e.V. and is one of the largest open source events in Germany.
In addition to exciting presentations and workshops, FrOSCon offers a large exhibition with projects and companies from the open source community - complemented by an open, committed community.
OpenCloud will also be there this year - together with the team from OpenTalk, the Heinlein Group's video conferencing solution. At our stand, you will gain practical insights into secure cloud infrastructures and video conferencing - with clear data sovereignty.
What does a file cloud look like that is not only stable and easy to use, but is also based on open standards - and enables long-term independence?
Tobias Baader and Klaas Freitag will provide insights into architectural decisions, challenges and practical experiences in their presentation.
