Talk: “The day proprietary solutions disappear: Digital resilience in practice”
Many infrastructures are optimised for normal operation until the worst comes to the worst: accounts are blocked, platforms fail or have to be shut down after a security incident. Communication and collaboration then quickly come to a standstill.
In his presentation, Peer Heinlein, founder and Managing Director of the Heinlein Group and OpenCloud, will show why resilience does not just begin at the moment of crisis, but rather at the strategic decision in favour of technologies that ensure control, change options and the European ability to act. The focus is on key questions: What minimum capabilities need to be secured? Which processes need to be in place in an emergency? And how can emergency communication be prepared in such a way that it does not have to be improvised in the event of a failure?
