Rolling Release: Centralised announcements directly via OpenCloud
Maintenance notices are easily overlooked in day-to-day work, particularly when they are scattered across various communication channels. The new Global Announcement Banner brings this information directly into OpenCloud, making it visible to all users.
Administrators can use this feature, for example, to highlight maintenance windows, changes to the platform or internal information relevant to the entire OpenCloud instance.
Manage announcements centrally
Announcements can be created in the general settings, previewed, and activated or deactivated. The content is managed centrally and, once changed, is immediately available throughout the entire application.
Thanks to Markdown support, announcements can be clearly structured and supplemented with elements such as links or lists. This ensures that important information reaches everyone involved.
