OpenCloud and FUAGO: More flexibility for sovereign file collaboration

Many organisations want to offer their users a secure and sovereign solution for file collaboration, but are faced with different requirements: Some are looking for a fully managed SaaS offering without the need for their own infrastructure, while others need an on-premises option for existing IT environments.

Partnership with FUAGO

With FUAGO, OpenCloud can be used for both scenarios: as a hosted solution and as an on-premises variant for individual operating requirements.

FUAGO takes over the operation of the platform in the hosted model and simplifies administration via Connecteeva. This means that OpenCloud can be used more quickly without having to operate your own infrastructure. OpenCloud is also available as an on-premises option for organisations with their own operating requirements.

SaaS or on-premises: flexible for different requirements

The choice between hosted operation and on-premises deployment gives organisations more flexibility. The SaaS model makes it easier to get started quickly with reduced operating costs. The on-premises option is suitable for scenarios in which infrastructure, integration or internal operating processes need to be controlled more closely.

Organisations receive a platform for collaborative working and file management. Functions such as flexible rights management, two-factor authentication, versioning and encrypted connections support the controlled handling of sensitive data.

We are looking forward to working with FUAGO. Together, we are making OpenCloud easier to use for different operating models and creating another way to use sovereign file collaboration in a controlled and data protection-compliant manner.

Webinar on the joint offering
