OpenCloud at the CS3 conference in Munich

The CS3 community brings together experts and thought leaders who want to shape the future of data storage, sharing and analysis. From local lab applications to global scientific collaborations, the conference provides a platform to discuss advances in areas such as big data analytics, data science and education.

The program includes numerous talks, workshops and keynotes. OpenCloud is delighted to be represented at CS3 for the first time.

Our keynote

"A community has to do what a community has to do" by Peer Heinlein, CEO and founder of OpenCloud GmbH - March 20th, at 9 a.m.

In his keynote, Peer Heinlein will shed light on the resilience and adaptability of open source communities. Proprietary software often presents users with challenges such as expensive migrations or limited options. Open source, on the other hand, enables users to retain control by further developing the code and building new structures. The keynote will use a current example to show how a community-driven software fork works in practice and what challenges and successes arise in the process.
