OpenCloud at the IT Tage 2025
At the IT Tage 2025 in Frankfurt am Main from 8 to 11 December 2025, participants can expect over 270 presentations, workshops, keynotes and labs in 16 sub-conferences. This year's conference will once again cover a wide range of topics - from software development, architecture, DevOps and AI to IT security, databases and agile methods through to social issues relating to digitalisation. One of this year's main topics is (of course) digital sovereignty.
OpenCloud is also part of IT Tage 2025: in his presentation, founder and CEO Peer Heinlein shows what happens when a community takes responsibility - and why exactly this means digital sovereignty in practice.

Peer Heinlein, CEO and founder of the Heinlein Group and OpenCloud, talks about what happens when proprietary products disappear or are sold. In contrast to proprietary software, open source offers the freedom to take responsibility - to continue the code, find new partners and rebuild support structures.
