Chemnitz Linux Days 2026 - recordings now available

Under the motto "Sovereign Digitality", the Linux and open source community came together at the Chemnitz Linux Days 2026 to share experiences and discuss current challenges. We were also there with OpenCloud as an exhibitor, speaker and sponsor. The recordings of the presentations are already available.

OpenCloud presentation: "OpenCloud: Learnings for a simple, stable file cloud"

In their presentation, Tobias Baader (Product Manager) and Klaas Freitag (CTO) gave an overview of OpenCloud and showed which technical decisions lead to a stable and easy-to-operate file cloud in practice. The focus was on fast commissioning, reliable operation and the question of how OpenCloud can be used in different environments in a scalable manner. They also showed how functions can be specifically extended via web extensions.
