What does the new service and support offer?
OpenCloud can be operated in your own data center or purchased from selected partners. With the release of version 2.0.0, customers now receive long-term support and comprehensive services directly from us as the manufacturer. This includes:

New feature: File Native Backup
With version 2.0.0, OpenCloud sets a new benchmark in enterprise file sync-and-share: File Native Backup - a feature that makes backing up and restoring data much easier.
What makes the new File Native Backup so special:
- Less complexity: Scaling, maintenance and backup can be implemented much more easily.
- No database for metadata: This saves resources and reduces susceptibility to errors.

Outlook: Migration made easy
And there is good news for anyone planning to switch to OpenCloud: From the second quarter of 2025, OpenCloud will be offering a special migration service that makes the switch particularly easy - even from older php-based solutions such as Nextcloud or ownCloud 10. The support team will accompany the changeover with technical support and individual advice - for a smooth start on the new platform.
